Explore the Tasman Peninsula by Sea kayak and Paddle with Whales
Tasmania is the perfect place to witness the annual whale migration as Humpback and Southern Right travel up and down the coast between May and November. The far reaching Tasman Peninsula, (just a few kilometres from the continental shelf), is a renowned destination for whale sightings, world class sea kayaking and hiking.
We’ve brought all these elements together for a very special trip! Our days will be filled with the best paddling options, with the possibility of a visit from migrating humpbacks, combined with short but spectacular cliff-top hikes to allow us to watch for whales from up high. This adventure includes a half day whale watching cruise to access outlying islands and inaccessible coastlines.
In addition, Gary Miller, our resident biologist, will join us each day to observe and explain the local and migratory marine life and deliver a series of specially prepared lectures in the evenings. Our base for three nights is a beachside private lodge built for peace, privacy and comfort. Enquire below for more information and to reserve your place.
