Explore the Greek islands of Kefalonia and Ithaca on an amazing Mediterranean adventure.
Kefalonia, the largest island in the Ionian chain, is a stunning combination of forested mountains, azure waters and beautiful beaches. The island is a perfect backdrop for a kayaking holiday, with its’ wild coastline dominated by huge white cliffs, sea caves and hidden coves.
Ithaca, the mythical island of Odysseus, is a magical island wth secluded coves of crystal-clear water surrounded by lush greenery. The second smallest of the main Ionian islands, Ithaca is reached by a short ferry ride from Kefalonia.
We base ourselves in guesthouse accommodation on both islands and experience diverse day paddles along the most scenic of coastlines. Join us on this fantastic island adventure and enjoy the history, culture, stunning scenery and legendary Greek hospitality.

Includes
All meals from dinner on Day 1 to breakfast on Day 10, nine nights twin share accommodation in guesthouses, luggage transfers, all kayaking equipment and return ferry transfer between Kefalonia and Ithaca.
Excludes
Tour cost does not include flights, arrival transfer, travel insurance, alcohol and items of a personal nature.
Day 1
Meet Lixouri, Kefalonia. Lixouri has a lovely town square with numerous restaurants and nearby beaches. Welcome dinner and a trip briefing with your guide.
Day 2
First kayak day exploring Kefalonia bay’s beaches and spectacular white cliffs.
Days 3-5
Paddling the northern and western coasts of Kefalonia. Away from our kayaks, we hike to ancient ruins, visit colourful villages and sample delicious local delicacies including fresh cheeses and traditional Kefalonian sweets.
Day 6
Today we catch the 30 minute ferry to Ithaca. Our base in Ithaca is a small hotel in the little town of Vathy, a traditional fishing village on a picturesque harbour with Venetian heritage.
Days 7-9
Paddling the north, east and southern coastlines of Ithaca, taking time out for lunch and a swim on beaches surrounded by aquamarine waters.
Day 10
We check out of our hotel this morning, pack the van and catch the ferry back to Kefalonia. Our adventure ends with a transfer to Kefalonia airport where we say our farewells.
