Celebrate mid-winter on the water with our unique evening guided tour

Hobart’s working waterfront is vibrant by day, and majestic by night. As the city descends into darkness for the annual Dark Mofo event, we’ll be taking to the water to experience Hobart in its full mid-winter glory.

Our exclusive evening tour kicks off from Marieville Esplanade in Sandy Bay at sunset. We’ll glide past the historic Battery Point, cross the Sydney to Hobart race’s finish line, and head to Constitution Dock.

As the evening sets in, you’ll see Dark Mofo’s famous red lights come alive, transforming the city and waterfront with a magical red hue. At Constitution Dock, enjoy a flaming hot chocolate and freshly roasted local chestnuts, soaking in the festival vibes and the waterfront’s storied ambiance as dusk turns to night.

This paddle offers a one-of-a-kind glimpse into nipaluna/Hobart, with the calm winter evenings providing the ideal backdrop for our journey. On a clear night, don’t miss the chance to star gaze – Tasmania’s clear night skies are among the best for it.
