Spend a superb week in East Greenland, a sparsely populated area of fjords and snow capped rugged mountains. Kayak past towering icebergs and witness glaciers meeting the ocean. Remote island passageways provide sensational sea kayaking opportunities.

East Greenland contrasts dramatically from the west coast of Greenland. It has more rugged beauty, deep ice filled fjords and abundant wildlife. Our East Greenland kayak expedition rewards you with close encounters with enormous glaciers and continental ice as well jagged and steep terrain.

During the trip we will camp on remote beaches and rocky headlands. These beautiful places will set the backdrop for spectacular outlooks towards the surrounding granite peaks and bays filled with thousands of broken glacial icebergs. Be awed by the sight of Humpback whales that are common in these regions.

This coastline is among the most beautiful places in Greenland and perhaps the world. It hosts remote villages; teetering on the brink of modernity but clinging to old tradition. We will have the rare opportunity to visit two of these villages during the expedition and  while wandering the streets and talking to the locals, we'll experience for ourselves life in this breathtaking environment.
