Subantarctic Islands

The subantarctic islands of Australia and New Zealand are located in the Southern Ocean between 47 and 54 degrees south. UNESCO World Heritage sites, they are renowned for their rich biodiversity and huge abundance of pelagic seabirds and penguins. Sea kayaking in the "Galapagos of the Southern Ocean" is a privilege few have been able to experience. The islands are home to over half of the world’s sea birds, a multitude of elephant seals, fur seals and penguins, ensuring each day is a paddling delight!
