    Solomon Islands and Vanuatu

Kayak the most isolated and remote archipelagos in the Pacific as we discover the outer islands of the Solomons, Santa Cruz and Vanuatu. Hidden worlds await paddlers on this once in a lifetime exploration, where Melanesian and Polynesian cultures intertwine. This unique voyage takes place aboard the mother-ship, Spirit of Enderby, a 50-berth expedition vessel and home to a fleet of sturdy kayaks. Experience tropical forests, volcanoes, pristine coral atolls and reefs, exotic birds and traditional cultures. We are thrilled to share this amazing journey, paddling where the art of traditional navigation is still practiced. Our adventure starts in Honiara, Solomon Islands and finishes in Port Vila in Vanuatu, with an unsurpassed itinerary of tropical islands to explore. This is a small-ship expedition where we delight in spontaneous opportunities rather than sticking to a fully programmed and rigid schedule. There is the option to kayak and snorkel every day that conditions permit as we discover hidden villages and bays around Santa Isabel and San Jorge Islands. We cruise eastward to Malaita, Makira and the small atoll of Santa Ana, believed to be the site of the first Solomon inhabitants around 1300 BC. From here we cruise to the seldom visited Temotu Province, Santa Cruz islands and sparsely populated Duff islands and Vanikoro archipelago. Towering volcanoes, lagoons and coral reefs make this a voyage of discovery. We head south to the outer Banks islands and Vanua Lava in northern Vanuatu. We continue on, visiting Espirtu Santo and Malakula before reaching the end of a remarkable journey. Each Melanesian sea kayaking trip is accompanied by a professional kayak guide to enhance your paddling experience. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable adventure!
